As part of the management team, the Regional Sales Manager ensures good customer relations while leading the sales efforts. Through active participation, the Regional Sales Managers ensures the delivery of high-quality material, produced safely and profitably to ensure a great product that is profitable within the market. The Regional Sales Manager works with the division to provide long-term strategic planning and focuses on achieving both short-term and long-term results.
Safety is the most important part of all roles within the Nucor family; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
This position will be in Montreal, QC and will be supporting the Eastern Canada region.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Take care of our customers and their current and futures needs current and futures needs
- Create and execute a commercial strategy for our product group and the enterprise
- Set a clear vision for the sales team and execute strategy in meeting all objectives
- Provide industry leading service by growing relationships in every area of our business and finding new strategic sales opportunities
- Submitting accurate forecasts and solving problems
- Work collaboratively within the team to motivate and inspire the operation
- Assist others in sales and service through coordination of engineering, fabrication and delivery of our products
- High school diploma
- Minimum of 5 years sales experience
- Bilingualism (French and English)
- Be willing to and have means to travel
- Be willing to work more than 40 hours per week
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate customer needs
- Proficient time management and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite products with a focus on Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Ability to work in a fast paced and high-pressure environment
- Experience in the steel industry is preferred
- Working experience or knowledge of SAP is considered an asset
