Busy medical office looking for a Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse as soon as possible.

Qualifications: RN or RPN College Diploma
Prior work experience in a medical office preferred but no necessary
Must be in good physical health
Must be compassionate and personable
Must have strong attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize
Ability to handle emotional and stressful situations in a professional manner
Duties and responsibilities:
* Assisting physician with vital signs in infants, children and adults (weight, height)
* Sterilizing medical instruments
*Responsible for contacting the Sudbury and District Health unit for updated information
*Familiarity with the current Public Health Immunization Schedule and changes, travel vaccines, and other types of injections preferred but not necessary
*Administrative work included in the responsibilities: filing, charts, answering phones etc.
*Ordering nursing/medical supplies
*Completing diabetic, CHF and smoking cessation flow sheets
*Administering infant/adult vaccines
*Remaining up to date with Cancer Care Ontario preventative health recommendations
* Re-stock exam rooms with medical/administrative supplies
* Perform ear syringing, dressing changes, removing sutures/staples and performing intradermal injections (TB testing)
* Contacting patients via phone regarding results
* Office cleaning (vaccum and mop floors, clean exam rooms etc)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Registered Nurse (RN) License (preferred)
