The Security Guard is responsible for protecting Harmony Beef’s premises, assets and personnel. The role will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. Goal of incumbent is to detect, deter, observe and report.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Protect the property and staff of Harmony Beef by maintaining a safe and secure environment;

· Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates;

· Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property;

· Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences,

· Report in detail any suspicious incidents in the plant,

· Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances;

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· High school diploma / GED equivalent

. 3 years experience

· Valid security guard license

. Must have good communication skills.
