Why This Role is Important:
The successful candidate will make a significant contribution by providing effective data analysis to support credit risk management activities for the bank’s card portfolios. You would be responsible for the development and implementation of credit risk strategies, monitoring and guidance for our card portfolio at a tactical level.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to drive revenue and customer satisfaction
- Monitor strategy effectiveness and find opportunities by validating and updating changes to the credit risk systems
- Facilitate decisioning and analysis of all types of credit information to support lending decisions and processes
- Analyze and respond to existing and emerging trends and grow knowledge of the business, related tools and techniques
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross functional teams to achieve business objectives
What You'll Need:
- Attention to detail with personal accountability to ensure accuracy of produced results
- Enjoy investigating sophisticated problems with ability to analyze and interpret information to formulate solutions
- Excellent communication skills to convey analytical insights in a simple and clear manner
- 2+ years of experience in analyst role with working knowledge of SAS, SQL or equivalent
- Strong business acumen and work experience in the banking industry, consumer lending area is preferred
