We are looking for an Intermediate/Senior Software Developer with deep C/C++ knowledge to join our journey and contribute to our software development in telecommunication (5G/6G) and advanced smart IoT infrastructure.

The Job
We are looking for like-minded partners, who would join our journey and contribute to our quest.

Today we need a partner who would run within the following area:

• Implementing software using C/C++, Python and Java on a multicore MPSoC or processor, including wireless communications technologies and protocols
• Participate into architecting, designing, coding, reviewing, and verifying complex software for IoT networks, 5G RAN, V-RAN, and O-RAN based products.
• Participate into designing network optimization solutions such as flow routing protocols, reliability mechanisms, and self-optimization for VNF-enabled services based on Edge/Cloud architecture.
• Applying AI and machine learning techniques for network optimization.
• Creating software designs that operate in an edge and cloud-based architecture.
• Implementing testbed network solutions to study and transfer to delivered applications.
• Preparing the functional and design specification in line with internal documentation standards;
• Ensuring adequate documentation is produced and maintained, in line with internal processes and practices, for the design, specification, development, unit testing, integration and deployment phases of delivered applications;
• Performing unit and qualification testing of software applications, including functional and performance tests;
• Preparing and supporting the installation and the deployment of new releases.
• Acting as a team lead to guide the project and support more junior developers
• Participating in the drafting of patents

The ideal partner would have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, RF design, or equivalent
• Deep experience in C/C++/Python
• Experience with IoT development
• Proven programming experience with TCP/IP based protocols (sockets), threads and state machines
• Solid understanding with 5G NR, 5G RAN, O-RAN, V-RAN, CPRI/eCPRI, front haul or other wireless technologies is an asset
• Experience with IoT, LTE, 3G/4G/5G, 3GPP, NFV network slicing, channel coding or SDN is an asset
• Experience with network optimization, Self-configuring and self-optimizing Networks, AI and ML techniques
• Telecommunications industry experience
• Flexibility and strong project/assigned tasks ownership
• Capability to adapt to organizational processes and to contribute to continuous improvement
• Strong aptitude to work and make decisions autonomously
• A result-oriented approach, strong planning, and organizational skills
• Rigorous and creative software development attitude
• Ability to troubleshoot problems
• Resourcefulness, dynamic and a team player attitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (French or English)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $55,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
