Growth Platform – Senior Product Manager – Teams
Teams Growth Platform is a suite of internal tools that power the Teams’ growth engine through in-app experiences. We are looking for a data-savvy, customer focused Senior Product Manager with a passion for collaborating with Engineers, Designers, Marketers and Data Analysts to support and evolve the platform and tools that drive product growth and help customers get the best experience using Microsoft Teams.
You will be working with marketing, design and engineering across multiple teams to build and evangelize this best-in-class growth platform and campaign management tech, including our tooltips, notifications, and quick guide engines, that is intelligent, scalable and reliable. This is in an exceptional position to build an amazing product these teams love and use to drive product growth.
An ideal candidate for this role will be a strategic thinker, a strong cross functional collaborator, a charismatic communicator, and tactical executor who can juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a mix of technical fluency, relentless execution, and cross-functional leadership as you are responsible for overseeing the utilization, development, and implementation of the growth platform.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with various product, data, and marketing teams to establish platform objectives and roadmap and build the right platform features to enable growth goals.
- Support cross-functional internal teams across the organization to utilize the appropriate tools and solutions to enable and drive growth initiatives.
- Promote and evangelize the growth platform across feature teams and partner organizations.
- Develop and maintain documentation, governance, and strategic guidance for feature teams to get the most out of the growth platform.
- Help feature teams monitor and measure launched products and feed insights back into product development process to drive growth.
- Clearly communicate product plans, benefits, and results, as appropriate, to a spectrum of audiences, from internal partners to executives.
- Drive team execution on backlogs and roadmap, with clear prioritization and an urgency to ship.
- Define clear metrics and projected impact for all investments.
- Discover and share industry trends around user growth to impact the product and business.
- Foster an environment that encourages diversity of thought and an inclusive team culture.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a product manager building and successfully launching end-user facing products or internal platforms.
- Experience with experimentation and analysis that creates measurable business value.
- Growth or other data-driven product experience.
- Design thinking and customer-centric approach to building, experimenting, and iterating products.
- The ability to identify opportunities, analyze data to inform decisions, and execute across cross-functional teams.
- Grittiness: You don't hesitate to take initiative and address something hands-on, you persevere when others give up.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field or equivalent industry experience.
