Duties and Responsibilities
· Lead and execute compilation engagements with little supervision
· Lead client assurance engagements while providing exceptional client service under varying reporting frameworks
· Execute fieldwork assignments, including managing time budget
· Analyze client prepared financial statements, reports, and filings
· Mentor junior staff
· Prepare corporate tax returns and personal tax returns
Qualifications
· Bachelor of Commerce or Accounting Science or equivalent relevant work experience (i.e. completion of CPA/CGA program of professional studies)
· A minimum completion of 2 years of public accounting experience
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
· Experience with Caseware and TaxPrep or Profile
· Completion of Quickbooks Online Proadvisor considered an asset
· Aptitude for dealing with people in a respectful manner
· Ability to work under pressure, decisiveness, good judgment and common sense
· Ability to recognize and analyze problems, propose sound alternatives and conclusions
· Ability to develop and maintain good relationships with clients
