Orca Point Lodge is an exclusive resort located at the mouth of the Bute Inlet on beautiful
Stuart Island, British Columbia. We provide exceptional guest experiences suited for business entertaining or leisure in a relaxed and private environment. Along with salmon fishing, world- class food, golf and more, it is our dynamic team of people from diverse backgrounds who create a truly unforgettable experience for our guests

The hospitality team is comprised of a combination of housekeepers/servers/management. We are an efficient team that works together to ensure guests of the Lodge enjoy a seamless, comfortable and unforgettable experience.

Depending on shift, duties may include:

• Breakfast set up/service/clean up
• Lunch set up/service/clean up
• Bar service
• General guest service/communication
• Dinner set up/service/clean up
• Assisting with guest arrival & departure procedures

There will also be days when there are no guests on the property. During these times, servers assist in regular housekeeping/upkeep duties, which may include:

• Laundry/ironing
• Changeover of crew bedrooms
• Changeover of guest suites
• Cleaning of common areas at crew houses + guest buildings (floors, bathrooms etc)
• Organization + upkeep of storage areas

• Golf course + grounds workers
• Hospitality team
• Gardeners
• Chefs + cooks
• Building + property maintenance
• Miscellaneous individuals (mechanic, marine operations, management)

Each department has a long-standing team lead/manager who is well equipped to show you the ropes, make you feel comfortable in the workplace and help you succeed!

Employees commute from Campbell River to Stuart Island via water taxi or floatplane (at no cost to employee) and stay onsite for the during of their shift. Alternative arrangements may be possible for candidates not residing on Vancouver Island.
