Opportunity

Newfoundland HVAC is seeking two Apprentice Sheet Metal Workers for projects in St. John’s and the surrounding area.

As a Sheet Metal Apprentice your duties will consist of, but are not limited to:

• Fabrication, assembly and installation of mechanical HVAC systems
• Use of fabrication equipment both in the shop, as well as on job sites
• Review drawings, order materials, and adhere to design specifications
• Occasional travel outside the St. John’s area may be required

Qualifications

• Appropriate certifications in the trade
• Safety certifications (WHIMIS, Fall Protection, Etc.) would be considered an asset
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with others
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation would be preferred
• Supply of own hand tools is required
