Snow Removal - Maintenance Worker Job at Workforce Inc.
Job description
Our client based in Sudbury is currently seeking individuals with a valid driver's license to assist with snow removal then transitioning into spring/ summer to help with various Skilled Labour tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Shoveling doorways and walk ways
- Salting and sanding maintenance
- Fueling of heavy equipment and vehicles
- Off loading rail cars
- Road maintenance
- Painting
- Heavy equipment spotting
- Sorting recycling materials and Industrial waste (ie. wood, metal, plastics)
- General cleanup
- Aiding with crushing and screening/ lancing
Experience/ Skills/ Attributes:
- Valid G2 or G driver’s license *required*
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Bending, crouching, and kneeling
- Work boots, hard hat, glasses, gloves and coveralls
- Follow all required safety procedures
- Ability to work in all weather environments
Requirements:
We will provide you with all the necessary certifications required for this position.
Schedule:
- Rotation Schedule 1 week days then 1 week nights
- Additional hours may be required
- Opportunity for overtime
