Solution Architect / Product Manager

As the Solution Architect, you’re committed to the development of technology solution plans, ensuring that technology solutions are aligned with applicable enterprise architecture frameworks and meet business requirements. You demonstrate ownership of solution architecture, end-to-end code quality, system tests, functional tests and integration, working to continually improve organizational systems and processes to maximize employee efficiency.

As a member of our strong and caring team, you work with your head—and your heart—to analyze and resolve challenges and adopt new technologies, conduct research and development activities to improve technical skills, and keep informed of new technologies.

What you’ll do

• Provide architectural consulting expertise, direction and guidance to systems analysts, developers and engineers
• Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of capability enablement efforts, and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and systems flexibility
• Work closely with stakeholders and external consultants to design and implement long-term strategic goals and short-term tactical plans for managing and maintaining corporate systems and software
• Design and implement policies and standards to ensure effective availability, scalability, security and integrity of solutions
• As a trusted advisor, maintain a close working relationship with clients, setting clear expectations, challenging assumptions, soliciting feedback, and taking ownership of project deliverables

What you bring

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, system analysis, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• A minimum of five (5) years’ formal work experience in a related field
• Experience in Agile Development, with specific Solution Architect (or similar) experience • Experience designing and implementing SOA, Microservices and REST API
• Excellent written (technical documentation) skills
• Experience with Cloud based development on Azure Platforms at the advanced level
• Experience with web development languages and frameworks: ASP.NET(C#, MVC), Angular, Csharp etc…
• Experience with Teraforms, Kubernetes and full MS Stack
• Employment conditional on obtaining federal Secret Status security clearance
