Position Summary

We are currently looking for a Spray Painter/Finisher who will be responsible for spraying all types of wood, mix paint and sand components. The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of the mill-work manufacturing industry and has the ability to work both independently and within a team to achieve targets in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities and Competencies

• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to paint and stain kitchen doors and each different component part from production documents and blueprints following Irpinia standards.
• The ideal candidate must have knowledge of different spray equipment, and must be familiar with mixing ratio.
• Overall understanding of the complete preparation, spray painting, and staining process.
• Possess manual dexterity for material and be detailed oriented (eye for detail).
• Read blueprints, drawings and schematics.
• Clean-up work area, equipment, supplies and materials.
• Maintain and apply standard safety practice and procedures as set out by the company.
• This position requires the candidate to be physically fit and able to maneuver at a steady pace, as manual labour will be required.
• Strong team working skills.
• Reliable and honest.

Qualifications

• 2 - 5 years experience as a sprayer/finisher preferably in the mill-work industry.
• Ability to work at a fast pace.
• Good understanding of Maths.
• Communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
• Ability to multi task and to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 25lbs.
• Frequently noisy working environment.
• Work overtime as required.
• High school or equivalent.
• Trade school preferred.
• Driver's License preferred.

Own Tools/ Equipment

• Steel toed safety boots

Remuneration

• Depending on experience.
