As the store manager, you will be working in partnership with the store owners and sales team to assist customers with their purchases. You will work with the store owner to calculate sales and margin targets and assist the sales team in reaching their targets. Together with the store owner you will be responsible for the recruitment, hiring, scheduling, training, and performance appraisals of the sales team. You will understand, implement, and ensure compliance with all Brick Group policies and procedures and be responsible for contributing to a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment.

Accountabilities

· Respond to customer inquiries and offer solutions in a courteous and professional manner
· Follow up with customers to identify and support their needs
· Process furniture warranty claims
· Increase delivered sales, Closing Ratio and “Return On Customer”
· Handle escalated customer service issues and offer solutions
· Organize and plan promotions and marketing events
· Maintain excellence in store merchandising, detail and customer service
· Assist with hiring, scheduling and training of the sales team
· Develop employees through goal setting, coaching and formal performance appraisals
· Implement and lead sales and incentive programs
· Increase delivered sales, Closing Ratio and “Return On Customer”
· Achieve sales and margin targets while controlling expenses
· Organize and plan promotions and marketing events
· Understand, implement, maintain and ensure compliance with all Brick Group policies and procedures
· Communicate progress effectively with the Store owners
· Schedule pickup and delivery for sales orders
· Moving and lifting of product
· Attach price tags & promotions to displays
· Unload trailers, organize stock, assemble & wrap furniture
· Represent the Brick Pincher Creek to the community
· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • General computer skills
  • Previous experience in sales and team management is an asset
