Position and Responsibilities

Cameco’s business technology services (BTS) department provides vital services to world-wide operations utilizing a variety of technologies to support key operations. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working team-player to join the applications team to support Cameco’s Robotic Process Automation initiatives. This is a great opportunity to work with a new generation (RPA) technology, and to interact with a wide variety of Cameco business units.

You will be a member of a cross functional team to implement, maintain and orchestrate ‘digital workers’ on our UiPath platform. Your main area of responsibility will be improving and enabling business processes through Artificial Intelligence and Robotic Process Automation software. You will translate business needs to technical solutions while applying best practices in IT security, governance and change management. This is a growth opportunity to gain high sought after skills in a quickly developing technology.

Education and Qualifications

Requirements of the position:

• Currently enrolled in the University of Saskatchewan Computer Science Internship Program
• Working towards a bachelor’s degree in computer science
• Available for a 16 month term beginning in May or September 2022
• Excellent teamwork and customer service skills

Assets:

• Knowledge about scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, etc. is an asset.
