Distribution Supervisor (Full Time) - St. Hubert, QC
Primary Purpose
As a Distribution Supervisor, you will direct planning and implementation of distribution activities within the given region including fleet management, routing, scheduling and planning of product distribution vehicles. You will be responsible for a given geography of distribution activities and ensure the distribution of company products to meet customer requirements in conformity to the different rules, regulations and Linde procedures.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develops and implements optimum routing schedules and/or works with planning team.
- Implements all distribution processes in accordance with Linde procedures.
- Ensures transfer of best practices and implementation of National initiatives.
- Manages the distribution cost in line with agreed budgets and KPIs.
- Along with the National Fleet Maintenance Coordinator, ensures that all trucks are properly maintained and are a good advertisement for Linde.
- Accountable for meeting annual expense and manpower budget for all locations in the region.
- Adheres to national safety code and other government regulations that meet Linde goals of zero accidents and zero injuries.
- Provides coaching to direct team members on safety, compliance and operational performance.

Required Qualifications:
Education:
- 5 to 7 years of industrial/cryogenic gas industry experience preferred.
Experience:
- Experience working in a distribution environment.
- Driver management experience an asset.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Knowledge of Transportation of dangerous goods (TDG)
- Knowledge of the trucking industry rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of, or training in, emergency response
- Familiarity with computer databases and software, e.g., JD Edwards, Sharepoint, Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to have a positive impact working in a team environment
- Detail oriented individual with a strong sense of urgency and prioritization skills
- Self-motivated, efficient time management and proven organization skills with an ability to multitask and problem solve
- Knowledge of cryogenic gases and liquefied carbon dioxide properties and behavior an asset
