Today, we are looking for a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator to fill a 6-month temporary contract role supporting the Florenceville Manufacturing HR Team.


Reporting directly to the site HR Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator will be a hands-on member of the local Human Resources team and will help facilitate basic Human Resources functions. This position provides a full range of HR support including, but not limited to: recruitment, reporting, and employee engagement initiatives. In this role, adherence to employee confidentiality is critical.


Key Responsibilities:


  • New Hire Orientation support
  • Interview scheduling
  • Screening Interviews
  • New Hire Onboarding
  • Recruitment ad sourcing and posting
  • Employee file digitization
  • Coordinate new hire training activities
  • Organizing Employee Engagement Activities
  • Organizing DE&I Activities
  • Other duties and projects as assigned


Qualifications:


  • Post-secondary education in business or human resources management, labour relations or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • CPHR candidate status or working toward designation would be considered an asset
  • 1-2 years of progressively responsible human resources experience
  • Customer service and administration experience
  • Must have strong computer skills with MS Office, specifically Excel and Power Point


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • General knowledge of Human Resources theories, practices, legislation and resources.
  • Excellent communication skills – listening, verbal and written
  • Strong computer skills including knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, data based software, presentation software, email and web browsers
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; ability to foster positive working relationships
  • Strong aptitude for numbers and analyzing information, attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • A self-starter with ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Excellent problem solving and coaching abilities
  • HRIS knowledge and skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize


As a temporary position, this role does not include pension or benefits.
