What the job is

We are currently seeking a Mandarin/English speaking Corporate Receptionist to join our team in Toronto, ON. to provide administrative assistance, ensure efficient operation of the office and support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer, screen and direct phone calls and provide general support to visitors.
  • Plan company meetings and events, make necessary arrangements for conference rooms, etc.
  • Distribute incoming and outgoing mail, couriers, faxes, and items for pick-up/drop off.
  • Ensures operation of equipment; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories.
  • Manages supplies inventory by checking stock and ordering supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Assist with reports and presentation preparation.
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports.
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
  • Maintain contact lists and book travel arrangements for senior management.
  • Perform other related general administrative and reception duties or special projects.

Skills &Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin is a must.
  • 3 to 5 years proven receptionist/administrative experience.
  • Experience with office supply management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail & accuracy.
  • Professional with positive attitude and friendly personality.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with a strong team approach.
  • Continuously demonstrate a high standard of ethics & maintain focused.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
