1. About Us;

Terradyne is a manufacturer of armoured Military and Police vehicles, used for the protection of first responders under dangerous conditions. Since 2011 Terradyne has been setting the standard for vehicle capabilities and performance in these market segments providing, superior protection from arms, innovative features such as skip shields, rams, gas rams, and remote door lock/unlock among others.

We are located on the line that divides Newmarket and Aurora with plenty of parking and a bus route out front. Each 44 hour week ends at 2:30 on Friday.

2. Job Description;

Terradyne is looking for motivated individuals who want to learn from experienced shop personnel.

· Employee is expected to apply steel welding and fabricating skills to a wide range of tasks such as;

o Fabricating Vehicles and subassemblies from drawings.

o Teardown of the purchased chassis

o Bending material on the brake press

o TIG welding of small subassemblies (Stl, SStl, Alum...)

o Fabrication of the vehicle

o Fabricating the Vehicle body

o Attachment of subassemblies to the vehicle and ensure proper fit and function.

· An employee is expected to become the lead person at a select number of these tasks.

· 6:30 am to 3:30 pm, daily (2:30 pm on Fridays)

· Training is provided by the established senior personnel at Terradyne and Manufactures’ Representatives.

· Required to follow all the details of established procedures.

· Best part of the job will be seeing your work in its’ functional form before it goes to the customer.

1. Requirements

· Previous welding experience. Experience in a metal working environment.

· Demonstrated ability to set personal goals and achieve them (College degree, Professional accreditations, Athletic achievements, Artistic or Literary accomplishments).

· A history of stability in an employment relationship.

2. Preferred Qualifications

· CWB welding tickets an asset.

Salary: $22.00/hr. for inexperienced to $26.50/hr.
