Shift Schedule – work 7 days in 14

· Night Shift 6:00pm - 6:15am

o Week One - Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday

o Week Two - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday

o Friday, Saturday, Sunday OFF every second week

o Repeat

Responsibilities:

Our Operators work in our processing facility, operating equipment and PLC’s to process fruit purees and juice.

• Responsible for outgoing operations: the set-up, efficient operation, and monitoring of evaporation and filling process – Evaporator, RO (Reverse Osmosis), fill station, PLC, and all auxiliary equipment that may be involved in the process.
• Coordinate and ensure the balanced flow of and quality of product through the process and equipment by effective communication with other operators, QC personnel, shift supervisors, and other PCFP personnel to meet quality, food safety, and production efficiency objectives.
• Ensure the proper cleaning and sanitation of the process equipment, auxiliary equipment, and work environment with consideration to prescribed application method, dosage, and testing of chemicals.
• Record all relevant information as required. Review documents, records, and instructions corresponding to specified production runs, including cleaning, and sanitizing records.
• Ensure all activities requiring monitoring, testing, and/or data recording are properly completed, including equipment operating parameters and, in-process production quality parameters, and interpreted to become useful information.
• Review documents, records, and instructions corresponding to specified production runs, cleaning, and sanitizing records.
• Assists with other duties as assigned – equipment and plant cleaning, assuming a broad range of production duties when we are not operating.

Additional Information and Requirements

· Previous work experience in manufacturing / with processing equipment an asset

· The learning curve is long – open and flexible to learn with good mechanical aptitude and/or experience with machinery.

• A knack for problem-solving and the ability to multi-task.
• Good interpersonal skills to interact with other departments, employees, and auditors.
• Strong attention to detail and a desire to learn and to work in a fast-paced environment.

· The ability to lift to 57 lbs.
