To be considered for this role, you must have the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and have an excellent command of the English language. A good driving record with current driver abstract required (3 demerit points or less). Familiarity with the city of Timmins and surrounding areas is required along with the ability to read geographical maps.

Major Activities and Responsibilities

• Use scanner for all required activities on the daily route; all scannable waybills, laser waybills, and shipper’s own bar-coded labels must be scanned
• Delivery of all assigned material in the route area, within the specific requirements of both customer and Canpar Express Inc.
• Pick up of all assigned customer pick-ups within the specific guidelines of the Customers and Canpar Express Inc.
• Compile and submit accurate route records on a daily basis

Accountabilities/Results

• Responsible for internal and external customer satisfaction
• Professional representation of Canpar Express Inc. at all times, including the maintenance and presentation of vehicle, uniform, etc.
• On-time pick-up and delivery of customer shipments
• Interact effectively with other members of the customer service and operation teams

• Inc. business required
• Late model 3yrs or newer 16-foot Cube truck commercial vehicle must be in possession
• Previous commercial driver experience is required
• 2 million commercial General liability and auto insurance coverage required
• 50K cargo insurance
• Clear criminal record check required
