Part-time Cleaner to join our Team
This is an amazing location that will
lead up to full time hours
This position starts January 9th.
Mondays for 4.25 hours
Start time is 8am
Location is the Magnetic Hill Zoo
The position will be for cleaning public areas
within the zoo
There will be No cleaning requirements
involving the animals or their enclosures
Main Duties
Disinfect high traffic areas and common touch points.
Clean and disinfect wash rooms
Replenish supplies in restrooms, break rooms and other areas.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, use of brooms, mops
and vacuum cleaners.
Empty trash cans and recyclables into disposal areas.
Work Environment
Physical demands include walking, standing, and kneeling
Requirements
Detail oriented.
Friendly and Professional.
Able to work in a team-oriented environment.
Desire to learn, seek new challenges and take on additional responsibilities.
Reasoning ability. Good common sense with ability to solve practical problems.
Identify potential safety or maintenance issues and communicate them to your supervisor.
Comply with all safety policies and procedures relating to performance of tasks
Use of products or supplies and incident reporting.
Language Skills
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Able to understand and follow directions in English.
