ScotiaWay Inc is one of the largest solar installations in the Maritimes. We are currently looking for Journeyman and Working Foreman Construction Electricians to join the ScotiaWay Inc. team. We are looking for people who enjoy leading a team of Solar Installers and delivering quality products.

Qualifications:
· Red seal journeyman electrician
Physical effort and work conditions:
Candidates will be required to work at heights from ladders, roof tops, scaffolding, and platforms; stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb and work in confined spaces, inclement weather and support extended hours and overtime as business needs dictate. Work may be performed indoors and outdoors. You will frequently handle, lift, carry and set up parts and equipment that weigh up to fifty (50lbs) pounds. Occasionally, you may be required to lift and carry items that weigh over fifty (50lbs) pounds.
Key Responsibilities:
· Communicating with customers and team members on a day to day basis
· Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications cables, cable trays, conduits and other materials & equipment
· Identify type of equipment: batteries, inverters, optimizers and generators
· Install, examine, replace or repair electrical components
· Use test equipment and components for current, continuity and voltage
· Use electrician hand and power tools and various test equipment
· Maintain, repair, generators and control systems
· Effectively use Lock-out/Tag-out procedures
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
