Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse with a current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Leadership ability
• Demonstrated ability to participate and function in a Team environment
• Understanding of and commitment to Resident centered care
• Other related certifications an asset

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Dispensing of medication
• Treatment of dressing changes
• Communication with physicians and families
• Supervises and directs on-floor Team Members
• Problem solving complex situation
• Participate in the ongoing assessment of Resident care needs, monitoring and reporting the condition of all Residents
• Follow established duties and job routines outlined in S&R policies and procedures
• Support the principles of Continuous Quality Improvement
• Support both Team and organizational goals
• Report any and all building equipment maintenance issues
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Night shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay
• Signing bonus

S&R Nursing Homes Ltd. follows all LTC Infection Control Policies and standards as set forth by local Public Health Units. Appropriate PPE is provided to all staff.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Windsor, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
