The Position:

Logixx Security Inc. is currently hiring for a full time and a Full Time Security Professional to support our operations in the Port Colborne Area.

Job description:

The duties will include but not limited to the following:

• Patrol industrial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
• Resolve conflict situations.
• Oversee and direct emergency personnel in cases of emergencies.
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $19.50 per hour

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Every Weekend
• Night shift
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Port Colborne, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Ontario Security Guard License (required)
• Class G Licence (required)
• Standard First Aid/CPR and AED Certificate (required)

Shift availability:

• Overnight Shift (required)
• Day Shift (required)
