Shop Labourer 3 - KEARL - Fly In/Fly Out Job at Mikisew Group LP
Purpose & Key Accountabilities: This is Fly in / Fly out, camp-based, 14/14 shift. This position will provide the Labour support for MFM LP operations onsite.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Execute daily work instructions received from Shop Manager & Lead Hand in a timely manner
- Maintain the work area keeping it clean, safe and organized
- Carry out housekeeping activities when requested
- Collect and dispose of garbage in the appropriate manner
- Work effectively to meet or exceed productivity goals while maintaining high quality standards
- Assist in waste disposal and recycling activities
- Load and unload merchandise as required
- Transport merchandise between receiving stations, warehouse and production areas as required
- Complete a vehicle trip log before and after each trip
- Maintain vehicles and material handling equipment in safe and good working condition
- Drive designated vehicles as requested
- Report any defective equipment or concerns to Shop Lead Hand before using
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License and clean driver's abstract
- Standard First Aid
- Able to carry out written and oral instructions
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Able to successfully obtain clearance of a Pre-access Alcohol & Drug Screening test
