Responsibilities:

• General clean-up of the site; sweeping, shoveling, removing, and properly disposing of debris and waste materials and overall site maintenance.
• Unloading tools, preparing necessary materials and setting up required equipment.
• Helping unload and load materials from trucks/machinery.
• Lifting, carrying, and moving materials. Up to 50 lbs.
• Some stripping of drywall, digging dirt or gravel.
• Assisting other trades as needed.

Qualifications:

• 1-year minimum experience as a construction labourer in commercial and residential environments.
• Solid understanding of construction processes and being able to complete assigned tasks independently and without supervision.
• Basic hand tools/power tools knowledge is an asset.

Nice to Haves:

• Have own vehicle or reliable transportation.
• Has Fall Protection, First Aid and/or WHMIS.
• Tickets in Heavy Equipment Use.
• Live in Coquitlam or nearby.
