Prairie Meats LP is currently seeking a Store Manager for our flagship store located at 2326 Millar Avenue in Saskatoon. The Store Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the operation of the retail store to ensure it is well stocked and has profitable operations. This includes the overall responsibility to ensure that a well-diversified and cross trained team of employees are selected, trained, and given every opportunity to be successful. The Manager will strive to increase the customer base by providing high quality, food safe products to customers in an aesthetically pleasing manner. The Millar Avenue Store Manager is also responsible for managing and overseeing the retail order fulfillment division that includes the Retail Service Desk, Home Order and Ecommerce Orders.

Important skills and competencies include effective problem solving and decision making, proficiency with computer software as there is a requirement to use Microsoft Office and software called DTEC, have excellent communication skills, and proven ability to team build, coach, train mentor and performance manage. The successful candidate will have experience in inventory management, point of sale software, balancing sales and cash, supervision of a team, and retail operations. Assets would be experience in meat cutting, wrapping, displaying, food production, deli, grocery, and packaging.
