We are currently looking for General Labourer to join our team in Niagara Falls.

Job Summary

The General Labourer will provide direct support to the Heavy Equipment Construction Mechanics to ensure maximum productivity in a strong team environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and assist in keeping the facility clean at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required
• Demonstrated technical aptitude gained through combined work or school experiences
• Valid Ontario G Class license with clean abstract is a bonus
• Must be a self-starter and able to work at a fast pace with minimal supervision.
• Able to move tools and equipment weighing up to 60lbs

Responsibilities

• Wash and prep equipment for the next service or repair.
• Ensure the upkeep, maintenance and safety of all areas of the work environment including the yard.
• Daily equipment inspection and reporting any defects, damages or malfunctions to supervisor.
• Loading and unloading of trucks as needed.
• Cleaning and washing of construction equipment.
• Fueling of equipment and back shop maintenance.
• Ensure that every internal customer is treated in the same fair and consistent manner and resolving issues as they arise.
• Supports OSC initiatives including inventory control, product placement, etc.
• Follow all paperwork and computer procedures related to servicing of equipment.
• Maintain all inventory control documents to preserve the integrity of the Rental Management computer system.
• Participate and ensures daily checklists are completed.
• Adhere to all Company safety standards and any customers safety standards when on-site.
• Other duties as assigned.
