You Will

You will be an integral member of the highly dynamic Systems Engineering team. You will be the key individual to act as the middle person between the Architects and the Engineers.

• Works closely with the Principal Architects to make sure the teams are building cohesive strategies.
• Collaborates and makes proposals for regional systems engineering teams.
• Introduces technology across the systems engineering discipline.
• Plays a key role in teaching, mentoring and growing Jr systems engineers.
• Solves technical problems of the highest scope and provides guidance and support to junior engineers.
• Looks for innovation opportunities with the willingness to experiment and to boldly confront problems of large complexity and scope.
• Guides conversations to remove blockers and encourage collaboration across teams.
• Oversees and supports global systems engineering incident response. Creates tier engagement processes and meets with stakeholders regularly.
• Works with departments globally to ensure systems engineering needs are met technically and performs gap analysis to see where we can improve.

You Have

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Computer Science or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in senior systems engineering. Areas include:
  • Windows Server 2019 or greater
  • Cloud technologies- IaaS, STaaS, PaaS, SaaS.
  • Server virtualization & hardware technologies
  • Expert level Active Directory
  • Backup and BCP processes & technologies
  • Automation
  
  

• Experience in solutioning and design
• Thorough knowledge of systems operations, security and disaster recovery principles.
• In depth knowledge of IT regulatory compliance, i.e. HIPPA, PCI, GDPR, etc.
• A commitment to quality work and the motivation to deliver that work in a fast-paced environment.
• Merger and Acquisition experience is a plus.
• Project Management a plus.
